He did a mixture of covers that he sang himself and took requests from our crazy guests and had everyone dancing from the first song to the last.
We didn't even give him a song list, just an idea of the type of music we like, and he was able to feel the crowd and keep the tunes pumping all night.

On behalf of my wife and myself I would like to take the time to thank you for all that you did to make our wedding such a success. Without your performance on the night and guidance leading up to the big day, there is no way we would have had the amazing memories which we now have. Ever since we first met you while you were performing at the Novotel Hotel in Hong Kong all those years ago we have been in awe of your talent and professionalism. It was always a dream of ours to have you perform at our wedding, and a dream that actually came true.
I remember when my wife first met you in Hong Kong and your extensive knowledge of songs blew us away. Not many performers can do what you do. Singing in English, Hindi & Mandarin was absolutely outstanding. I know that there are many many people in Hong Kong wanting your return for another stint at the Hotel, as it is a place not really worth visiting without your presence in our opinion.
When we decided that we were going to be married in Bali, Indonesia our first priority, believe it or not was to try and secure your services. This came before deciding a menu, wedding cake, choosing a suit and even final bridal party members. We had to have you!!!
The professionalism that you brought to our wedding is unmeasurable. With the countless e mails that I was sending you, “Hey Johnny can you play this song?” or “Hey Johnny, what do you think about this song?” you were always friendly and prompt in all replies. The fact that you were able to learn and perform “Two Little Words” by Reuben Koops for my wife to walk down the aisle to is a credit to talent. It was always a dream of hers to have it played while she walked down the aisle since the first time she heard the song. A performance that in my mind surpasses the original and will always be held very dearly in both of our hearts.
As you know we had quite a few issues with the wedding planner that we hired from Bali and I know that without your reassuring words and guidance that there is no way we could have enjoyed ourselves as much as we did. From meeting with the resort staff to organise the extra sound equipment that you needed, which was meant to be supplied by the planner, to helping us decide the perfect location for entrances, first dance and cutting of the cake. You are a true professional.
Speaking to our quests on the night of the wedding and in the weeks that followed, a common statement that was made was “Your wedding entertainer is by far the best we have ever seen” and “Where did you find the wedding singer, that guy is amazing!”. Statements that are also felt by my wife and I. I am trying to think of the words to type to describe to you, the honour and delight that we feel that we were able to have you play at our wedding. Words cannot come close to describing it mate, please always know that both Sumi and I feel indebted to you and consider you as family.
I would be more than happy for you to use me as a reference for any of your future bride and grooms. Any time I am available to answer any of their questions. I have left my contact details at the bottom for you to pass on to anyone who would like to send me an e mail.
