Johnny Spitz is an all round entertainer,
I first encountered johnny over 5 years ago whilst working in a club where he had a Sat night Gig,having been involved in the promotion and booking of entertainers for over 15 years I know how hard it can be to keep an audience entertained , but Johnny Spitz does that and does it well.
A little over 18mths ago I took up the position of Manager at the Astor Hotel in Goulburn at the time the venue was doing live entertainment once a week which was on a Friday night and karaoke on a Saturday night, I quickly changed that to live entertainment 3 times a week Fri, Sat & Sun. The Friday and Saturday entertainment is a soloist or Duo/trio which has proven very sucessful, sundays however is a thing we call Sunday Sessions of which we have artists sitting back with more of an acoustic sound.I have a saying for entertainers on Sundays that if you can get the crowd tapping their feet on a Sunday you are doing a great job as the majority of punters are really just looking for a place to relax and listen to some non over powering musician.
Johnny not only had them tapping their feet he had them up dancing and singing.
Johnnys Sunday gig with us was a huge success which is testament to Johnnys ability of adapting as an entertainer from his ussual routine into an acoustic show.
So if you are looking for someone to entertain at your venue be it elictic guitars and amps or acoustic I whole heartedly reccomend Johnny Spitz.
